| Good Beer in Puerto Rico…… doesn’t exist! Just returned from a short vacation there, and the beer selection on the island is really poor. Saw lots of Bud, Coors Light, Heineken, Corona and a local brew called Medalla Light. After hitting a slew of bars and supermarkets in numerous areas around the island, I could not find one craft brew or anything close. I did see a few six packs of Heineken Dark in a store. Not even a single brew pub on the island.
I did find Presidente Beer from the Dominican Republic which, when fresh, wasn’t bad. (Green glass syndrome).
If there are any budding beer entrepreneurs, consider moving to Puerto Rico and teach the locals about better beers. |
