Beer Cocktails anyone?
Wednesday, March 15th, 2006 by DavidNow they’re really pushing the envelope… Anheuser-Busch is promoting using their beers and other alternatives and mixing them with liquor. I guess you would call them Beer Cocktails. They seem to have come up with some interesting concoctions. How about:
Budweiser Ginger Beer
12 oz Budweiser
2 oz ginger ale
1 tbsp simple syrup
¼ tsp ground ginger (or ½ tsp minced)
Dash of bartender’s bitters
Pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg
Mix ginger ale, syrup, spices and bartender’s bitters together in a cocktail shaker. Add 6 to 8 oz of Budweiser slowly down the side of the shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain and pour into a 17½ oz pilsner glass with ice. Add remaining beer. Garnish with an apple slice or cinnamon sticks.
