Bombs Away!
I’ll never forget the first time I did a bomb shot. It was a Jager Bomb, I was 21 years old and as nervous as someone halfway in the bag can get. What if I did it wrong? What if I broke the shot glass? What if I made a fool of myself?
I’m pleased to report that all went smoothly, as far as I recall, and my fears have since subsided. This St. Patrick’s Day, friends and I proudly ordered Irish Car Bomb shots at the bar and I threw them back like a pro. Even with my promising future with old school bomb style shots, I was very excited to learn that we’ve got Power Bomb Cups! These combined tumbler/shot glasses are made especially for bomb shots! Sure, they’re innovative, sanitary, reusable, tough, brightly colored and designed to give you the perfect proportions of both of your shots’ ingredients but I’d have to say that the best thing about them is how easy they are to shoot. There are no worries about the drop, the timing or your technique with these guys, just straight shooting. I realized that once you stop thinking about how you’re going to do the shot, you’re able to really concentrate on what you’re actually drinking. Jager Bombs and Car Bombs are great, but there are so many other possibilities!
