Thanksgiving Beer Menu
Friday, November 14th, 2008 by MikeI was looking for some beer choices at Thanksgiving and stumbled across this article by Devon and Jeff Drink with some craft beer recommendations.
It’s suggested that your Thanksgiving beer menu should go something like this:
Football Beer (aka What to drink before the meal)
Stoudt’s Pilsner
A light pale brew with a whispy white head. Offers light malty tones with a hint of hops.
Sierra Nevada Harvest Fresh Hop Ale
Quite a hoppy brew that’s red-amber in color with a thick, off-white head.
Ommegang Hennepin Saison
A sweet, citrusy beer with just a hint of spice. Golden straw colored with a light head.
Rogue Chocolate Stout
The darkest beer of the selection with a quickly dissipating, frothy head. Tastes of chocolate and sweet tobacco.
Check out the entire story for more on each brew.
Enjoy!
Mike
