Ever had one of those nights where you crave just a single solitary cocktail, but don’t want to get up off your lazy duff and hit the store? I think we all go through that at one point or another.

In fact, I had just such a wild hair this past weekend. I found myself shuffling around and seriously craving a little something with rum in it. Now, anyone who knows me, knows I’m a beer guy, so when I get a craving for a cocktail, it’s something kinda special. For me, it doesn’t often happen, but when it does, I tend to pay attention to it.

As I cracked open the fridge, the only things available for use as mixers was some French vanilla coffee creamer (Eeeww!), milk (gross!), water (not gonna happen) and a very lonely looking bottle of— Ooh! Hmmm… This is promising: Fuze Banana Colada. Sold!

This improvised drink was awesome from the first sip to the last drop. The only thing that could potentially help make this cocktail born of inventiveness better would be a blender and a lot more ice.

I think I’m going to have to run to the store at some point and pick up more Banana Colada "mix". I imagine this will easily make a great cocktail for those quiet, warm nights sitting out on the deck stargazing or at a summer bonfire. Give it a try.
