Root Beer Brewpubs
When a brewpub decides to expand its company to another location, it’s not always in that other location’s plan to include a beer brewing operation, as the owner of Moab Brewery in Utah has recently learned. But that didn’t stop him from opening a new brewpub. Instead, he just changed up which type of beer he’d be brewing.
John Borkoski, the owner of Moab Brewery, instead opened a root beer brewpub, and it seems to be gaining quite a bit of popularity! In fact, last year Ruby River Brewery’s "Ruby Root Beer" won a bronze
medal in a national beer competition (the gold and silver went to Anheuser-Busch). Fans of the sweet stuff tend to try local brews, just like beer lovers do, because each and every one has its own taste dimensions.
While you may not have a root beer brewpub locally, you can try brewing some of your own at home with our Root Beer Making Kit. Crisp, refreshing, old-fashioned root beer, freshly brewed at home… it may not be brewed by a professional brewpub, but when it’s this fresh and always on hand, it can’t be beat!
