@Alex: TY 4 da tweet! [chirp chirp CAW CAW CAW]

@aeon: Oh yeah! Definitely forgot to mention that Root is really good neat. YUM. TY 4 reminding me. Incidentally, Pete, our draft beer buddha here also suggested just mixing it with plain soda water - which I'm going to try this weekend, along with some plain "root beer" soda. Mmmm Mmmm! [drool]

I too was enchanted by the thought of a Root liqueur, but seeing as how I live in WA I had to go to some lengths to get it, but I did! And let me tell you, the only way to truly experience ROOT is to try some for yourself... So far I'm loving it neat or over ice, but I can't wait to make some cocktails with it. ROOT will definitely be consumed with affection. Thank you Art in the Age!

Alex,

I bet you saved a good chunk in shipping. Clearly I'm gonna have to take a road trip... maybe head south to visit family and pick up a couple bottles along the way.

I have to admit, when I ordered it, I hadn't had so much as a drop beforehand. Never tasted it. Ever. Now, mind you, I'm not one to usually do something like that, so it was an even bigger surprise that my roll of the dice turned up a complete and utter winner. Of course, I probably used up a karma point in doing that, but it turned out to be well worth it.

Now I feel like I'm on a one-man crusade. In fact, I may have tempted Pete here at the office to get some. (That's only because I decided I'd be selfish and not share! HA!)

Cheers and thank you for backing me on this.
