Dogfish Head in Buffalo!

Thursday, October 1st, 2009 by Liz

In case you hadn’t noticed, I’ve been raving about Dogfish Head brewery for quite some time now. My friends here at work think it’s because I have a crush on their founder Sam Calagione but I assure you that my love for the Delaware brewery is based solely upon their incredible beers and the "off-centered" approach that they have for the beer business in general.

As you can imagine, I was pretty pumped to learn that my favorite craft brewery would be right here in Buffalo this upcoming weekend! Elizabeth Lyons from the brewery, the fine folks from T.J. Sheehan Distributing and a whole bunch of beer nerds (myself included) will be at Coles Restaurant (1104 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo) this Friday, October 2nd from 5pm until midnight and then again on Saturday, October 3rd from 3pm until midnight.

There will be tons of fantastic beers on draft, including several hard-to-find brews that Dogfish Head identifies as "Occasional Rarities". I promise you, if you like good beer - you’ll love this event.

You can check out the Dogfish site for details, here or choose to believe my unconfirmed insider-info below:

Dogfish Head LogoBeers to Enjoy On Draft:

We are hoping & crossing our fingers for a cask of DFH 75Minute IPA.
There is no entry fee, as it’s a pay as you go event. Keep an eye out for Dogfish Head related food too!

Hope to see you there!

Oh my God. Looks like I picked the wrong weekend to go camping. I seriously would come out for this if I could. I expect a full report on my desk Monday.
