Hannah....I have been a Yankees season ticket holder for 10 years and have yet to be mugged. I even take my daughter to games. I want to thank the NYPD for keeping everyone safe and reducing crime in and around the stadium. Must be doing something right has Yankees had 3.7 million visitors to the stadium this year. 2nd only to LA Dodgers.
Crime around Yankee stadium is countered by a paid detail off duty cops paid by the Yankees. Some in uniform, some not. The Stadium is within the confines of the 44th pct. As of 10/11/09, muggings, or Robberies over 2 years are down 9.6%, 43% over 8 years. Check it out for youself: http://www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/downloads/pdf/crime_statistics/cs044pct.pdf

HAHAHA! And while you're at the game, you may even be so lucky as to get mugged!
