I think that the article is right on the button. My friend is a liberal and drinks blue mood whenever he gets a chance lol. I think that maybe a few more beers should be added to the article to complete total personalities involved. I don't the beer that is me is on there maybe I'll write an article to complete it.

It’s clear the topic of this particular blog article has touched a nerve. I also feel fairly confident that the author hadn’t necessarily intended it to be insulting – either directly or indirectly.

While we’d all like to take the original poster’s comment in stride and hope that it is, in some way, some sort of misplaced ‘lashing out’ at the original writer (who is not employed by KegWorks, btw), it is impossible for us – and many readers to ignore.

I think I can easily speak for those backtracking to this thread when I say that the poster’s comment is misplaced at best, and downright morally questionable. To suppose that a particular personality/mental state can be attributed to a particular brand of beer is one thing; it is a completely separate issue to wish a horrible, fatal disease upon your fellow man simply because you might feel emasculated by someone else’s comment or opinion.

Please remember that statistics can be used to prove anything. For the sake of brevity, let’s quickly illustrate this point by pretending that a statistical report is published that cites 99% of whatever-brand-beer-drinkers are complete mouth-breathers. There is always the 1% that are NOT – even if the report doesn’t say so specifically.

There are always exceptions to rules and statistics and as such, we, as readers, must take these things with a grain of salt and learn to read beyond mere words... As my mom always used to say, “Consider the source!”

I would offer that any person who feels such deep-rooted feelings over something as petty as this article, should probably seek a proper, professional setting to get to the heart of the matter, rather than a blog thread – which has so clearly caused such an emotionally charged response.
