Florida Interstate Now Smells Like Dirty Dive Bar Floor
Monday, May 21st, 2012 by Liz ChattertonA tractor-trailer accident near Daytona Beach, Florida has left the I-95 smelling like a sticky dive-bar floor.
After the early morning crash, 55,000 pounds of bottled (and previously bottled) Heineken and Amstel Light littered all four of the interstate’s northbound lanes.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the crash – unless you count the wounded soldiers that will never know what it means to be consumed.
Considering Heineken and Amstel Light are both water-like in many ways, it was probably all of the broken glass that kept cleanup crews on the clock for seven hours.
This seems especially senseless after 36,000 pounds of Chobani Greek yogurt were lost in a similar incident last week.

No tears shed on this one. I guess some things DO happen for a reason!

What a waste of good beer. I think the workers would be rather appreaicte driking those once beverages rather than cleaning them. And yes, the glass will be a danger for drivers and their previous vehicles.
