Punkin Liquor – Perfect for Halloween, Not for the Faint of Heart
Thursday, October 25th, 2012 by Liz ChattertonMike Williamson is one of our many customers who purchased a Watermelon Tap Kit with the intentions of turning a pumpkin into a keg.
What he ended up with is pretty incredible.
With the intricate autumnal carving and Indian corn tap handle, we were immediately impressed. Then he regaled us on what he served inside – and lucky for you, he doesn’t mind sharing.

This jungle juice style pumpkin treat would be perfect for that Halloween party you’ve got this weekend, as long as your guests/friends can handle it.
Punkin Liquor
1.5 gal of apple juice
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp apple pie spice
Pumpkin spice liquor (Hiram Walker makes a good one)
Jack Daniels
Whipped cream vodka
In 2-gallon pot, bring all ingredients to a boil, remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature. Add the fifth of pumpkin spice liquor, a fifth of Jack Daniels, and a fifth of whipped cream vodka. Serve room temperature or cold, best enjoyed out of a pumpkin keg.
Note: In case you’re unfamiliar, a "fifth" of liquor equates to 128 oz (approximately 750 mL).
