Freight Truck Delivery Information

Please read the following carefully, as it outlines important information regarding your freight delivery.



Setting an Appointment for Delivery
Freight orders usually take 7-10 business days for delivery; Some items will take longer, based on your location.

When your item arrives at your local freight depot, they will call the phone number listed in your delivery address to schedule a drop off. If you miss their call, you will need to call them back within 24 hours to arrange a delivery time and date.

Please respond to the carrier as soon as possible once you are contacted to set up a delivery time. If you do not respond, the carrier will be forced to store your merchandise at their shipping facility until they are able to reach you. Thus, you may be charged a storage fee up to $45 per day, or your order may be returned to the warehouse from which your product originated. In this case the cost of return shipping is deducted from your refund.

All of our contracted freight carriers provide curbside delivery only. This means that you will need to remove the product from the truck yourself. When you set up the delivery appointment with the Freight Company make sure to inform them if you require any additional services, such as a lift gate and/or delivery to your front door. There is an additional charge for these services and if not arranged ahead of time these services will not be available at the time of delivery.

Day of Delivery
As stated above, all of our contracted freight carriers provide curbside delivery. Unless you have made other arrangements with the Freight Company, you will most likely need another person or a dolly to help.

Please inspect your delivery carefully before signing. The driver is required to wait during your inspection.

Damaged Shipments
On occasion, products are damaged in transit. So, inspect your delivery carefully for any signs of shipping damages before signing the carrier's freight bill. If the damage is obvious do not accept the shipments, do not sign the freight bill, and call us immediately at 1-877-636-3673. If you are unable to contact us, refuse the delivery and note the damage on the shipment Bill of Lading.

If the damage was not obvious, you have 48 hours (excluding holidays and weekends) to inspect your delivery for concealed damages. If you discover damages contact us at 1-877-636-3673. We will arrange a return of the damaged unit and to have a replacement product shipped to you.

When a damaged item is being returned, please make sure that the product is in its original packaging, with all parts, accessories, instructions and manuals. Have the product available and ready for the pick-up attempt in order to avoid delays and possible cancellation of the pick-up. Please note, shipping companies will only make one attempt at pick-up. Subsequent pick-ups may be at the expense of the customer. Once the damaged unit is received at our warehouse, we will immediately ship the replacement product.

If you fail to contact us concerning damaged within the 48-hour time frame, you will be responsible for filing any claims with the shipping company.

Defective Products
The manufacturer, under the terms of their product warranty, handles defective products.

Therefore, KegWorks will not replace or exchange a defective product that falls under a manufacturer's warranty.

Refer to the owner's manual for instructions on how to contact the manufacturer regarding product defects.

Missed or Rescheduled Delivery
If you are not home at the agreed delivery time, or if once they have arrived, you tell the carrier to come back at a later time (for any reason), you may be charged a $75 to $100 fee for redelivery. The decision to schedule and attempt a redelivery is made at the carrier's individual discretion.

If you miss your appointment, your order also may be returned to the warehouse from which your product originated. In this case the cost of return shipping is deducted from your refund.

Return of Non-Defective or Undamamged Goods
If you return, refuse, or miss your delivery appointment(s) for a non-defective/un-damaged product, you will be responsible for all additional or return shipping costs.

If you do not pay these costs directly to the carrier in advance, they may be deducted from your refund, after the product is returned to the appropriate warehouse.
