Your barmobile unit has been shipped with the chrome tower unattached, so this will be your first step in assembly. Follow these step-by-step instructions to completely assemble your unit.

To attach your tower
  1. Check to make sure that all parts are included in the tower box
    • Tower with beer line
    • Black faucet knob
    • (1) ¾" diameter rubber washer
    • (1) 3" diameter rubber gasket for tower base
    • (4) screws
    • (4) nuts
    • (4) plastic thread protectors
    • #1350 spanner wrench to remove faucet (not needed for assembly)
  2. Slip the 3" rubber gasket over the beer line and hold at the base of the tower
  3. Drop the beer line through the opening in the top of the unit
  4. Line the tower and gasket up with the four screw holes around the opening; make sure the faucet is facing toward the front
  5. Insert the screws through the holes
  6. Attach a nut to the bottom of each screw on the underside of the top of the unit
  7. Tighten screws and nuts using a screwdriver and a 3/8" wrench
  8. Place the red plastic thread protectors over the ends of the screws
  9. Screw black knob onto faucet head
To attach the air hose
Inside of the unit (at the top, in the back) there is an air hose that must be attached to the top of the tower. To do this, refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on the tag enclosed with your unit.
Note: You will need to remove the cap at the top of the tower and the 3" circle of insulation to attach the air hose. Be sure to replace the insulation and cap when you are finished.
Door handle
Barmobiles are shipped with the door handle facing inward - you will need to re-assemble, so the handle faces outward.
Attaching your coupler to the beer line
  1. Insert the ¾" diameter rubber washer into the hex nut at the end of the beer line
  2. Thread the hex nut and washer onto the coupler and tighten with a wrench
Connecting the gas regulator and tapping your keg
  1. Place a NEW fiber washer or nylon waher inside the coupling nut of the regulator and screw the nut to the cylinder valve outlet (some regulators may already have a built-in "O" ring in the regulator stem. In these cases, a CO2 washer is not necessary but as the ring wears, a new ring or CO2 washer will be needed)
  2. Tighten with a wrench; make sure that it's really tight, as this is the spot where most air leaks occur
  3. Turn the shut-off valve at the base of the regulator to the "OFF" position
  4. Open the drum cylinder valve (the large screw on the face of the regulator) all the way out
  5. Turn adjusting screw clockwise until correct pressure is indicated on gauge (approximately 10-12 PSI)
  6. Attach keg coupler to your keg
  7. Open the valve on your CO2 tank all the way
  8. Pressurize the keg by placing the handle of the shut-off valve on the regulator in the "OPEN" position (straight up and down)
Tips and tricks to keep in mind
  • Store your CO2 tank upright, NEVER on its side
  • A full CO2 tank will read approximately 700-800 lbs PSI at room temperature; at 40° F it will read approximately 600 lbs PSI
  • Turn the gas pressure ON immediately after connecting the keg coupler to the system - do not run system off keg pressure alone as this will use up the natural carbonation, making the beer flat and possibly causing a back flow of beer to the regulator
  • Turn gas OFF when changing kegs, cleaning hoses or as soon as the keg is empty
  • Keep the beer at 36° to 40° F for the best taste
  • Be careful with the regulator, as the gauges on it are somewhat delicate and can break easily
  • When drawing beer, always pull the faucet fully open
  • Clean the entire system after each keg is emptied - the faucet should be removed, disassembled and cleaned with hot water and a brush weekly
