Pronounced “gloog.” Try this Scandinavian winter tradition! Combine this mix of dried fruit and spices with port wine, sugar, water and alcohol to create Glogg. Serve it hot or cold and with or without the fruit still in it. Enjoy this unique spirit around the holidays, but be careful, it can catch up with you quickly!
Glogg recipe:
Full contents of Glogg mix package
2 Quarts water
1 Cup sugar
2 Quarts port wine
1 Pint alcohol (190 proof)
Cover fruit and spice mixture with water and sugar and boil slowly about one hour. Add liquors and bring to boil again. Remove from heat.
