    Overview

This innovative homebrew keg with a US Sankey coupler fitting is the best thing to happen to homebrew supplies in a long time!

It holds up to five gallons in a durable PET plastic inner liner that’s easy to clean, sanitize, assemble, and disassemble for hassle-free refilling. Inner PET lining is cleaned like bottle or carboy.

Because it’s the same kind of fitting used on the vast majority of domestic commercial kegs, the US Sankey coupler fitting is much more convenient than standard quick disconnect fittings that you find on most homebrew kegs.

Nothing hits the spot like a frosty pint of fresh homebrew, but sometimes you don’t feel like dealing with a Corny keg. Fix that problem forever with the Sankey sensation that is this PET plastic homebrew keg!

Please Note: This keg is not intended to be used with commercial-grade cleaning or filling equipment.

Outer shell is made of gray, blue, or black plastic. Sorry, we cannot provide a choice of colors.

    Good deal.
These can be tricky to get a good seal at the tap. Especially after several batches. But soaking the rubber gaskets in hot water seems to revive them. Disassembly and reassembly aren't easy but aren't impossible either. For the price, it's a great way to keg! I have 2 and I keep using them.

Yo Friends...2 questions pls: 1)What type of coupler is it? US Sankey A? D? G? etc.... and 2) How long would you suspect the keg lasting? maybe 1 year, 5 years or would it best be measured in # of batches?
    Thanks much dudes/dudetts!
    Todd C on Dec 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is a D. I would say it would last much more than year as long as you do not crack or puncture it . I have already done 3 batches off the one I bought. The problem with this product is you need to change the seal that comes with it and sometimes that does not do it either because it is a plastic sanke. I lost a lot of CO2 because of the seal. Other than that it is not a bad concept for home brewers and kegging, especially it you do both home brews and regular brews through a kegarator.
How do I refill a pub keg?
    A shopper on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is easy, simply remove remove the white sankey assembly and fill as you would any soda keg. You will need a couple of pipe wrenches, I recommend using a rubber strap wrench on the sankey assembly as it is plastic. Remove the lid and use one wrench to hold the bladder and the other to turn the sankey. The inner bladder is also plastic but has a hexagon at the neck the is designed to lock into the outside cover. Be careful with the o-ring at the neck, it is fragile and I have not found a source for its replacement.
why can't I choose the color of the 5 Gallon PET Homebrew Keg? $60+ is a lot to spend to get a random color.
    A shopper on Oct 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: NOT GOSPEL, but from what I understand, the drums are of recycled materials, and black or grey are the only 2 dyes compatible. if choice were available, they might get stuck with a load of the unpopular color of the month.
Where can a person get the pet liners?
    Joshua T on Nov 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The liners are not sold separately. I spoke with our product manager and he explained that the original intent of a PET Keg was for the commercial beer distributors as a lightweight, recyclable alternative to traditional kegs. Once it was empty, bars or restaurants could just toss it in the recycling bin. Because it was never intended for reuse, the liners are not available separately.

If you're interested in an alternative, we also carry used Corny Kegs that are guaranteed to hold pressure.

    Where does the O-ring go?
    Eric W on Dec 30, 2015
    BEST ANSWER: Hi Eric,

The o-ring goes between the PET liner and the stem. You'll need to remove the stem with a strap wrench, then place the o-ring.

    Cheers!
where can you get the o rings for this keg?
    A shopper on Nov 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We don't carry the gaskets/o-rings, but to help in your search they are: 47 millimeters in diameter, or -032 in terms of gaskets.

    Cheers!
