Tomorrow is a very special day. It’s Learn to Homebrew Day. Established by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) in 1999, Learn to Homebrew Day aims to promote and encourage this fulfilling hobby. Whether you’re just hearing about the holiday now, or a veteran celebrator, I’ve provided a few ideas for ways to celebrate.
1. Learn How to Homebrew
2. Drink a Homebrew
Have a friend who brews their own beer? Maybe a friend of a friend? Give it a try. Provide feedback. Taste the hard work that went into that beer.
3. Support a Small, Local Brewery
Chances are, that brewer started out as a homebrewer. Show your support.
4. Learn How to Grow Your Own Hops
If you already know how to brew, why not learn something new? Check out our comprehensive guide on How-to Grow Your Own Hops.
5. Spread the Word
Tell your friends, family, and coworkers. Share this blog post. It doesn’t matter how you do it, just make sure you spread the word.
In closing, I’d like to leave you all with this quote…
“Give a man a beer, occupy an hour. Teach a man to brew, occupy a lifetime.”
