Well, yesterday settled it. We can now safely report that this year’s American Professional Football Championship Game will feature the Seahawks of Seattle squaring off against Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos.
These two teams were widely considered to be the favorites (or at least among the favorites) to advance to the Big Game, so we can’t really say the matchup is a surprise. And quite frankly, it should be a pretty awesome game, so we’re really looking forward to it.
Of course, even if it wasn’t going to be an awesome game, we’d still be looking forward to it. Why? Because it’s an excuse to party, and boy do we ever love to party.
Now, you’ve got plenty of time to prepare, so there’s no need to get all stressed about anything. Hosting a good party is all about taking care of the details and making sure everyone has a good time. We’re sure you’re pretty great at that. But can we make one suggestion?
If you are among the lucky, fortunate souls with your very own kegerator…please, for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, clean your lines. It’s really not an optional thing.
Think about it. If you don’t clean your lines after every keg, you’re allowing sediment and residue to build-up and taint the flavor of your new, fresh keg. Why would you be OK with that? Even more important, why would you expect your friends and guests to be OK with that?
Having a kegerator automatically gives you a leg up in the Coolness Wars. But in order to maintain your place, you have to give it the attention it deserves. Is it hard to clean your lines? Or expensive? No, it’s not. It’s actually pretty damn easy, and won’t even come close to breaking the bank. We’ve even got a video (and/or written instructions) to guide you painlessly through the process.
Alright, I’ll get off my soapbox. But really, clean your lines. It’s one overlooked way to make sure you and your friends have a super time at your Feb. 2nd party!
