Dyngus Day

What is Dyngus Day? It is a Polish Holiday/Tradition celebrated the day after Easter. The boys would try to soak the girls in towns and villages with water buckets. In recent days the guys have progressed to using squirt guns and instead of chasing the girls around the town, they all meet at a bar (usually Polish) or a community hall. At least that’s the way we do it in Buffalo. Here is a list of all the Dyngus Day events going on in Buffalo today.
