Today, I’d like to talk about two things: versatility and deliciousness. Separate, they are commendable traits for any flavored syrup to possess. But combine them into one bottle of straight up awesomeness? As my friend Joe Pesci says, “Fuhgeddaboutit.”

Well, that combination is what Fruitations Craft Soda & Cocktail Mixers are all about. Available in three flavors (Cranberry, Tangerine, and Rio Red Grapefruit), each bottle of Fruitations has three ingredients: water, cane sugar, and fruit. That’s it. Nothing made in a lab by a mad scientist. Nothing engineered to emulate natural tastes for $.13 cheaper than it would be to just source the actual ingredient itself.

Because they’re such an uncomplicated mixture, Fruitations pair perfectly with carbonated water OR booze. That’s right. In one little bottle, you’ve got the goods for making a superior craft soda for Junior while at the same time mixing up a little something something with a kick for yourself.

And do they taste good? Um, yeah, duh. They sure do. Think fresh and light and sweet and like you’re literally biting into a piece of fruit on a sunny Saturday afternoon. (Full disclosure: I only sampled the Rio Red Grapefruit, but it was literally bursting with intense flavor. I can’t imagine that Cranberry and Tangerine don’t follow suit).

Look, we carry lots of great cocktail mixers and syrups. You’re bound to like pretty much all of them. But I felt like Fruitations deserved some special attention because they’re new, they’re wonderful, and they’re kind of unlike anything else we have. So go ahead and order up a bottle (or three) and get ready to sip on some sunshine.
