Have you ever considered building your very own tiki bar in your backyard or maybe in your basement? I have a friend who has a nice, home-built tiki bar in his backyard and it is a great place to hang out in the summer. Living in Buffalo, NY and summer do not necessarily go together, that is why, around here, you have to enjoy being outside and having fun as much as possible while you can. A tiki bar is a great way to have fun outside but still enjoy two of the world’s greatest pleasures, drinking and relaxing.
Building any type of bar can be a bit tricky, however they are so worth it when they are complete. Here, in this eHow article by Steve Cavanaugh, learn how to build a tiki bar.
Of course, now that you have your tiki bar built, you are gonna need some supplies to make the bar completely authentic. Get tons of tiki signs, cups, decorations, recipe books and more to give it that true tiki look and feel.
Now don’t forget, when everything is finalized and your bar is up and running, please send in some pics so we can post them on our site. At the very least feel free to invite me to your next party!
