This cocktail was invented in New Orleans at the end of the 19th century and features some unique ingredients not often found in cocktails. Two of those unique ingredients are Orange Flower Water and egg white.
Orange Flower Water is an extract made from flowers of bitter orange trees. The flowers are steeped in water then distilled to transmit their oils into the water.
