This sweet variation of the gin martini is a lovely before-dinner drink for Spring. It’s about that time of year when I trade my Maker’s Manhattan in for something with gin or vodka (at least sometimes) so here’s one to make when you have a hankering for a bit of something sweet.
Add gin, vermouth, brandy, juice and grenadine to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake until condensation forms on the outside of the shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
