In an effort to raise money for earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan, three craft brewers have come together for an IPA collaboration. Japan-based Baird Brewing and Guam-based Ishii Brewing Co. (self-described as the ‘smallest brewery in the world’) traveled to Stone Brewing Co. to brew up a Green Tea IPA. Proceeds from the beer will go to relief efforts in Japan.
The beer, which is available now, weighs in at 9.2% ABV and features Crystal and Warrior hops from the US and it’s dry-hopped along with the green tea for an added kick of delicious flavor. I hope all of you craft beer lovers join me in picking up a few of these. Even small efforts can mean a lot to those in need.
