There’s been a bit of surge in press coverage on our fun little company and I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty exciting stuff.
The local press here in Western NY has been very good to us lately. There was a big ‘ol feature on KegWorks in Buffalo Spree Magazine and our name even graced the cover (which was especially awesome because it was their Beer Issue.)
We were also highlighted in a feature called “Building a Better Bar” in the publication Artvoice and although I’m linking to the article, I can’t resist adding one little quote too. “The website is not only a one-stop shop for everything from mixers and muddlers to faucets and foot rails, but also an information-rich portal loaded with ‘how to’ tutorials and videos, as well as blog that features new additions to the Kegworks inventory and how to best use them.”
That makes me very happy, considering the last thing we want to be is another boring shopping website.
Our CEO, Tom McManus was quoted in a Buffalo Business First article on the excise tax cut bill, proposed to help small microbreweries expand.
Our hometown periodical The Buffalo News did a great story on us too and since we’’e bragging just a little bit, I don’t mind saying that we were front page of the Business section. Everyone knows they save the good stuff for Sundays, so that was awesome. The article highlights our humble beginnings, where we’re going and all of the things that are helping us get there.
As if the local coverage wasn’t awesome enough, our Founder and President was the top source in a New York Times story on Cheerwine. If that doesn’t do it for you, were recently mentioned on the DIY Network show Man Caves, soon we’ll be featured on a This Old House bar build project and we’ll have some products highlighted in Real Simple Magazine. Look out world; we’re almost famous!
