Measure the strength of your beer with this specific gravity hydrometer from Brewcraft.
Hydrometers that measure specific gravity operate on the principle that during fermentation the density of your wort is lowered as the yeast converts sugar into carbon dioxide and alcohol. Therefore, you can measure the amount of alcohol by calculating the difference between the original gravity and the final gravity using this hydrometer.
This particular model from Brewcraft is made from glass with a dense plunging end. It’s specifically calibrated to give you accurate results on a scale that ranges from 1.070 to 1.000.
Don’t guess at the performance of your fermentation. Know your brew inside and out with the help of this accurate hydrometer.
Please note: This hydrometer is calibrated to perform in wort that is held steady at 60 F. Please click here if you need a thermometer.
