Unlike a regular rubber stopper, a Buon Vino bung has long tapered sides that guarantee an airtight seal in your fermenting vessel and a prominent ridge that helps prevent you from accidentally pushing it all the way through the carboy mouth.
This solid rubber bung features the same dimensions as a traditional #10 rubber stopper, so you can confidently use it with three, five, and six gallon plastic carboys.
