Now you can bring those elements to your cocktail glass with this winter-spiced version of Dr. Adam's bitters, which are handcrafted with cranberries, citrus peels, baking spices, licorice root, and rhubarb root for a seasonal sipping experience.
Cocktail bitters are spirits infused with flavors, typically from plants, fruits, or spices. They date as far back as the early 1800's, originally used to assist with digestion and cure stomach aches. Infusing your cocktail recipes with just a few drops of bitters will give them an additional level of flavor depth. Many bitters are also renowned for their ability to cure hangovers.
Winter Spiced Bitters were inspired by Dr. Adam's now-retired Christmas Bitters. This new, limited-release formula works well with whiskey cocktails and drinks made with champagne, sherry, cognac and port. Try adding a warm dash of bitters to a winter negroni made with 1.5 ounces gin, 1 ounce Aperol, and .5 ounce Pedro Ximenez Sherry.
Like all of Dr. Adam Elmegirab cocktail bitters, they are made in Scotland from natural ingredients and come packaged in a dasher-style bottle for easy dispensing. Dr. Adam's only produced a certain amount, so grab a bottle before they're gone for the season!
