In a dramatic display, the process begins by pouring the wine through the stainless steel filter, which catches any cork or sediment present in the bottle while also disbursing the wine into the aerator. In phase two, the wine is gently disbursed again, this time through holes inside the aerator into a specially designed globe, providing a second round of aeration. From there, the wine continues into the bottom of the aerator and travels strategically out and onto the sides of the decanter, exposing it to more oxygen before it finally comes to rest in the decanter. At this point, the wine is bursting with flavor and scent in a fraction of the time it would take a standard decanter.
