    What proof is this?

    BEST ANSWER: There is only a trace amount of alcohol that comes from the bourbon barrels it is aged in. There's not enough alcohol in the syrup to give it a proof.
    You had a truly delicious Woods Pure Maple Syrup RUM aged in Mad River Barrels. I realize that it's a craft series but I'm hoping that you can locate more (a dozen bottles?) for us? I'm a gourmet cook and have found the Rum aged to be more appealing & appropriate as a flavoring/use on Pancakes, creme brûlée ("burnt crust), bananas foster, cooked pears, whipped cream (wonderful over strawberries), baked apples, French crepes, and last but to least caramelized & poured over snow for my grandchildren. The bourbon aged simple isn't as gastronomic/useful!

    BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we no longer carry the Rum Barrel aged flavor but you can find it directly through Wood's Vermont Syrup Company.
