The replacement hand wheel fits all Sherwood CGA valves, which is the standard CO2 tank valve in the US. Made of metal with a black finish, this is also a more durable and dependable part than the plastic hand wheel that may have come with your CO2 tank.
Without a hand wheel, you will have a hard time operating your gas tank, which is necessary for serving draft beer. So, having one of these replacement parts on hand is a good idea.

It did not fit the tank we have
I needed some extra handles for Nitrogen Tanks, This was exactly what I needed. Shipping time was prompt.

Does not fit properly.
Unfortunately, this metallic hand wheel does not fit a standard CO2 tank shaft and nut. I had to drill out the to enlarge it and then file the "flats" back in so it didn't spin on the shaft. The handwheel is nicer than plastic, but only if you're handy enough to retrofit it.

Solved a big problem
I had a CO2 tank fall out of my vehicle when I went to get a few refilled and the Hand Wheel cracked, so it would open the tank. The guys working at the store said you can't buy a replacement part, but he would try to glue it (of course that didn't work). He told me that it happens a lot and nothing could be done other than buying a new tank. That didn't sound right at all...So I checked at Kegworks and of course you can buy replacements! And they were cheap enough that I was able to buy 3 of them. Super easy to change and they work great! As a bonus, the three I received were metal instead of plastic and they work even better than the originals. A++
