The beer shank is the internal piece of the tower that connects the beer line to the faucet for dispensing your draft beer. This assembly includes the shank and the metal tailpiece. The 90-degree angle of the gooseneck makes it much easier to attach the beer line and pour beer from it.
This gooseneck shank assembly features a durable steel construction. For enhanced reliability, the gooseneck is welded directly to the shank. This means you won’t have to worry about installing or replacing compression fittings.
The gooseneck tailpiece make it very easy to attach your beer line. The angle of the elbow also prevents the plastic tube from kinking, which can disrupt your pouring.

Great product. Only recommendation would be having the 3/16 bars fitting in the title. I know it says in the specs so that was my bad not reading. Otherwise great product!
Diminished Quality of Manufacturing
While the Tower Shank Assembly did operate as expected, I noticed a diminished level of manufacturing quality in the unit. The original unit that I was replacing was an exquisitely machined product. The unit I received showed sloppy welds. Also the key that I normally use to tighten the tap to the shank did not fit the holes well so tightening was a challenge.
Excellent item, better than the original part that it replaced.
Works perfect. It’s a little bit of a pain to install but that should be expected with such a small area to work in.
