    Worked right the first time.
For the regulator I originally got this for, it was the wrong thread, but I put it on a regulator with the right hand thread on a older model I had years ago. It worked well and fit perfectly. Make sure you use plumbers tape on the threads to eliminate leakage. I did order the left hand thread version for my brewers regulator. It too worked like a champ.

This sounds stupid to me, can someone please set me straight. If I have been reading correctly the pressure in a CO2 tank never exceeds 850 psi, correct? The liquid turns to gas vapor and maintains 850 psi until all the liquid has turned to gas and been expelled, right? If this is true, why would you ever need a 3,000 psi gauge?
    BradIXXI on Apr 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: yes, all that you stated about CO2 is correct - the reason the gauges go to higher psi is they can be used for other gases such as oxygen which are under higher pressure
