I gambled on this fitting my Banner Sankey tap when I ordered and as it turned it was much, much too large. I would recommend including the axact dimension of the item on the website.

This item is part of my beer line cleaning tool. Being a soft rubber part a few years of age I expect it to fail soon, this part will be installed in anticipation of its prior part’s failure

Using the same check value for the past 8 years. Having an issue with a new regulator. Just trouble shooting the issue of foam beer and expelling all of the CO2 in a 1/6 keg.

Bought to replace two check valves that went missing during a move. Tried using tap without valve on accident, beer went up air lines. Don't do that.
    Brett D on Apr 1, 2017
First culprit if beer is pouring foamy (after temperature and pressure) is a missing check valve.

How do you install the part? And what is it for and what happens if I don't use it on my coupler?
    Tom L on Nov 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This goes where the CO2 hooks in and controls the air flow. If you don't install, you will leak gas and/or have a hard time adjusting your pressure. I've replaced these once when it got dry/cracked. You def don't want to leave it out. Hope this helps and good luck!
Is there a specific way the valve goes into tapper?
    Rob W on Mar 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The pinched cut end goes toward the Beer/Keg.
This is the one way Duckbill air check valve, CO2 can pass into the keg but not back out.
Is this necessary for the ball lock adapter conversion kit?
    A shopper on Jul 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I do not remember if it is included in the kit, but if you do not have one, you need one.
My ball taps both have a nylon insert that forms the seal between gas line fitting and the tap gas input. Onto the nylon insert is affixed a rubber check valve that resides entirely inside the opening. I cannot find a make/model on my ball taps. Clearly the check valve shown here is not intended for my ball taps, can anyone suggest a make/model with the nylon check valve assembly mine uses?
