Keep the creamy stout flowing from your draft faucet with quality beer faucet parts. This is a replacement for the restrictor disk in your stout faucet.

    Overview

Treat your stout faucet well and it will return the favor with a delicious draft stout with a perfect foamy head. One way to maintain the quality of your nitro draft brew is by using quality stout beer faucet parts like this restrictor disk.

The restrictor is a small metal part that fits inside a stout beer faucet. Featuring five small holes, the disk restricts the flow of beer when dispensing, giving nitrogenous beers like Guinness and Murphy’s a distinctive, creamy head.

It’s common for parts of kegerator parts and draft components to wear down over time. The restrictor disk is a very small part, so it’s understandable if it somehow gets lost while cleaning your stout beer faucet. This is an affordable replacement – and much cheaper than buying a brand new faucet tap.

This replacement restrictor disk will work with all stout draft beer faucets that Kegworks sells. It will only fit with a nitro tap faucet, not a standard CO2 faucet. We recommend always having a backup disk handy so you never have to worry about being without your favorite draft stout. Installing your replacement restrictor disk is quick and painless. Just insert it in place of your damaged or lost restrictor disk.

I wish it was more like a Guinness restrictor disc which has six smaller holes. This one has 5 larger holes. Not sure why.
Also the disc is thicker than a Guinness disc.
This disc is better than no disc at all.

The restrictor or jet disc is the most important component of a nitro faucet. Without it, you are falling short of the full cascading effect and creamy texture which is pinnacle to the nitro experience.

Can this be used with a perlick 650ss faucet to approximate a stout pour?
    A shopper on Dec 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, it will not. This fits on top of a conical shaped piece that is just as important as this restrictor. You have to get an actual stout pour to make it work. I also have a 650ss faucet that I use for ciders and there is no place to really install this into that faucet that I can think of.
