    Convenient piece
This shut off valve makes it easy to change faucets, lines and do anything while maintaining pressure in the keg without disengaging the coupler.

I have two tap handles that are attached to the exterior of my house to the patio. I have been un-coupling them to ensure that they aren't accessible to any adolescents in the neighborhood but wanted a simpler way to shut the kegs off.

Could I install this just before the beer faucet without any bad results on a pour? It is stainless?
    Rob H on Jan 22, 2016
    BEST ANSWER: Hello Rob,
We use this valve as a shut off attached to beer line on top of a keg coupler. It's is stainless except for beer nut. This helps to stop beer from draining back through the lines during a keg switch. It's simply a ball valve so has no effect on pour providing it's fully open.
I assume it is air tight as well as liquid tight? I used an inline valve and it allowed air into the beer line creating foam.

BEST ANSWER: I didn’t have any of the problems you mentioned. I did have to remove mine though because I discovered that there wasn’t enough room for it in my kegerator on top of a 1/2 keg. It caused the hose to kink, at least where I had it located.
Hello I like to know if you have 10' Hose Connector with Hex Nuts for 7/8 Beer Line because I see the item valve off with 7/8, but I like to know if the other end has the side of 3/16. What side is the other end of the valve?
    Alex S on Apr 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Alex, as pictured the left side connects to directly to the coupler. You would connect 3/16 beer line with a beer line connector to the other end. The hex nut of the connector will fit the 7/8" end of the shut off valve. You don't need 7/8 beer line. Cheers!
