With any draft beer system, it's vital to keep your kegerator parts in prime condition. This includes the air tank and CO2 regulator parts as well.
If the built-in seal on your keg regulator stem wears out, it could easily lead to a CO2 leak. You should replace that part at any sign of wear and tear to maintain a properly working system.
The Star Seal threads into the female threads in the center of your gas cylinder outlet valve and it really stays in place. It’s permanent, so when you’re changing tanks it won’t fall out or go missing like plastic or fiber washers often do! It even installs easily with a 5/32” Allen wrench.

Worked great and shipped quickly.
Good idea, but didn’t work
Maybe I overdid it on the install, but the brass split when tightening down the nut. Good idea in principle, but didn’t solve my problem.
Works great
I have been doing business with Kegworks for a long time. They have all my keg needs. This is a prime example of them having items that you can't find anywhere else. This item works keeps CO2 from leaking and it is made of quality durable material.
