Does the thought of a broken keg coupler handle give you nightmares? Put your mind at ease with this US Sankey (D System) coupler, which boasts a solid metal wing handle.
The coupler, or keg tap, plays a very important role of connecting your keg, CO2 tank, and beer line. When you operate the black plastic lever, pressurized gas enters the keg, which then pushes your beer up through the beer line toward the faucet for pouring. Unlike standard keg couplers that come with plastic lever handles, this item features an extra-durable metal wing handle. So you won’t have to worry about your handle breaking from frequent use.
This coupler fits US Sankey (D System) keg tap valves, which means it’s exactly what you need to serve the majority of North American beers. Just a few of the brews it will dispense are: Budweiser, Michelob, Busch, Miller Lite, Milwaukee’s Best, Coors Light, Killian’s, Sam Adams, Molson, and Labatt. This metal wing handle keg coupler is made from brass with a durable hard nickel plating. For your safety, the coupler features an internal relief device that prevents dangerous pressure build-up that can damage your system. To operate the coupler, simply twist the wing handle.
Measuring 4-1/8 inches tall, this is not considered a low-profile keg coupler. It’s ideal for slim ¼ kegs with high walls around the coupler fitting. It’s also a terrific option for both home or commercial use.

good quality....I prefer the twist vlve over the standard sankey pop up handle
It was just as it was pictured
I love the new Sankey keg coupler. I like to buy 5 gallon kegs, unfortunately the coupler that came with the kegerator had a handle that would hit the rim of the top of the keg and not be able to release the pressure correctly and I would end up spraying beer every time I decoupled that. This new one is very convenient and have not had any leaks since I got it.

This coupler works great on 1/6 bbl. I have female bartenders and they can tap the 1/6 bbls much easier with the wing handle.

Steel standard Sankey
All steel construction and lower profile than the lever style, this one replaces my original one. After 25+ years, time for a new one.

The older version of this had a plastic T handle which finally broke after 21 years with no leaks. The metal T handle is a drastic improvement.

Superior platform
These aren't low profile but I do like how they operate much better than the lock lever handle style. To me these make more sense and are easier to attach to a keg. Just a more intuitive design imo. Hoses don't feel like they are in the way when attaching or details hinge to the keg. And these stay in place once locked in.
Just what the DR. ordered
When the old plastic eared tap gave out, you need first aid QUICK. Kegworks came through for me. Only suggestion would be to send next tap pre-attached to some good beer.

Had a lever type coupler & experienced small co2 leaks. Purchased this coupler & rock solid. No leaks!! Lever type too flimsy. Only way to go!!
