2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water
Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Dissolve the packages of Jello in 2 cups boiling water, stirring for at least 2 minutes, until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in ice-cold waater and vodka. 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Tips & Tricks:
Mixing
Our number one Jello Shot tip is: be creative! You can use almost any type of alcohol, and any flavor Jello. Just note that the higher the proof of the alcohol you choose, the more cold water you will need to set your shots.
30-50 proof: Use
13-ounces of alcohol and
3-ounces of cold water.
80-100 proof: Use
10-ounces of alcohol and
6-ounces of cold water.
150-200 proof: Use
6-ounces of alcohol and
10-ounces of cold water.
Layering
If you're using clear containers, layering is a perfect way to bring your presentation up a notch!
To layer your Jello Shot, just make a few different color of Jello Shot mixes and add one color on top of the first, after it has set.
Our standard rule of thumb: Make the Jello mixes about 10 minutes apart to avoid adding the second layer prematurely, causing the layers to mix together.

Shots per Batch
Gelatin is typically sold in either a 6-ounce box or a 3-ounce box. A 6-ounce box produces 16-20 2-ounce Jello Shots, while a 3-ounce box produces 8-10 2-ounce Jello Shots.
When throwing a party, you'll probably want to prepare 4-6 Jello Shots for each guest.
