The Viski Professional 18/8 Stainless Steel Julep Strainer is the ultimate tool for serving up a timeless and iconic beverage.

No bar set is complete with out one of these glinting beauties. The classically shaped, elegant tool can be used with standard or large mixing glasses and is constructed of 18/8 stainless steel, the standard for cutlery and flatware.

Originally named after the famous cocktail, julep strainers can be used to strain any kind of drink you need to make behind your bar. Some bartenders even prefer using them over standard Hawthorne strainers. The convex/concave design allows them to fit easily inside cocktail mixing glasses or a pint glass when used with a Boston shaker.

Julep strainers are ideal for pairing with a Yarai mixing glass.

Did you know the original use for a julep strainer was to keep the ice in mint juleps out of the facial hair of gentlemen drinking them? They eventually made their way to the other side of the bar where they are a great tool for mixologists of all kinds.
