Use this 3/8-inch tail piece to connect your 3/8-inch inside diameter vinyl beer line tubing from the shank to your beer coupler.
Beer and air lines connect to a coupler at the keg end, and beer line connects to a shank at the faucet end. A tail piece like this one is required at all three sites to get the job done. It fits inside of a hex nut, and a washer is employed to form a tight seal between it and the keg coupler or shank in question.
It's made of durable plated brass and attaches directly to a hex nut. You'll also need a rubber washer to help ensure a tight seal with the shank or coupler.
