When it comes to draft beer systems, even the smallest parts are crucial to their proper function. Case in point: this 3/8" Tail Piece, which performs the critical role of attaching 3/8-inch vinyl beer and air line tubing to keg couplers and beer faucet shanks.
Beer and air line connect to a coupler at the keg end, and beer line connects to a shank at the faucet end. A tail piece like this one is required at all three sites to get the job done. It fits inside of a hex nut, and a washer is employed to form a tight seal between it and the coupler or shank in question.
Like all premium draft parts, the 3/8" Tail Piece is made from durable stainless steel, which means it is built to last AND won't corrode from long-term contact with beer. If you're building our revamping a draft system with 3/8-inch line, it's a necessity.
