Your Cornelius keg draft beer system isn’t complete without this ball lock style quick disconnect for liquid. The job of the quick disconnect is to attach your keg to the beer line so the flow of beer can reach the faucet.
The Cornelius keg, commonly called a Corny keg, is the go-to size for homebrewers. The ball lock style is also known as the Pepsi keg, but it has gained popularity with a wide range of soft beverage manufacturers and brewers.
The body of this ball lock disconnect is made of plastic. The black color means that it is made exclusively for the liquid line. You’ll also need a gas disconnect, which comes in grey.
Installing the ball lock style quick disconnect is remarkably simple. While pulling up on collar, push the coupler over the keg’s liquid post and let go. The internal spring will release and lock the disconnect in place.
This disconnect comes with an integrated ¼ in. MFL fitting. You can securely attach your beer line using an MLF nut and stem.
