Bar Rail Molding - Wood Arm Rest - Red Oak

This bar arm rest is made of red oak wood, which is arguably the most popular hardwood in the United States due to its durability and distinctive swirling pattern.
Choose the length of bar top rail that fits the dimensions of your bar, with a variety of sizes available between 2-feet and 8-feet. We recommend having some excess length when ordering this bar trim, as this will allow extra room for cuts, or any errors that may occur.

Chicago style bar rail adds a completed look to the top of your bar, helps you prevent against unwanted spills, and gives your guests a spot to rest their arms whether they're standing or sitting.

Great choice for molding
The price of the molding is expensive and nearly $20 a foot, however the quality matches the price. Minimal sanding, cut extremely well with a 60T 12” miter saw. You’ll need to build a jig to cut and there are plenty of instructions and videos to go by. The KegWorks directions that are in the comments helped a lot. I orders an 8ft and 4 ft section, the 4 ft section had some minor to intermediate chipping splintering on the one end which wasn’t an issue since I needed only 3ft of it however if I needed the entire section, sanding and patching would need to be done. The quality and craftsmanship is worth the price, the hassle of installing this piece. My bar wouldn’t be complete with out it and I’m glad I pulled the trigger and bought it.
Great Quality, Good Customer Service, Too Expensive Price Tag
The only reason I did not give a full 5 star review is due to confusion whether or not the wood I purchased was on back order. On the website, the specific size oak railing that I ordered said it was in stock. After waiting over a week to contact customer support about the status of my purchase, they informed me that in fact my rail was on back order as well. Customer service was friendly and helpful but, the rail took a long time to finally deliver. This delayed the finishing of the bar. The bar is now completely constructed but, it just lacks stain and finish. The only other issue I experienced is the price of the rail. Just the bar rail itself cost more than every other material needed to construct the bar combined. I personally think this is ridiculous, but I also wouldn’t use any other trim to finish my bar rail with. I am extremely happy with the finished overall look and feel of the bar rail. This rail is great quality that adds the perfect finishing touch to a bar.
Nice stuff
The armrest is very pricey, and overnight shipping is not cheap either. But well worth the money. I bought 3 ea 8 foot pieces, and there was only one small knot. Not much sanding needed
Novelty tap handle
Not bad for what it is. If you like the look of them and get 'em on sale, Hey why not
Molding arrived as scheduled and packaged extremely well to prevent shipping damage. The quality of the delivered molding is extremely good (flat/straight lines, no knots or voids, good color). Grain patterns between the different pieces match very well. The molding was cut, mounted, sanded and stained without issue. The finished look is great! Much better than expected and very happy with the results. Lots of compliments from visitors.

Formaticum cheese paper really works.
Cheese paper really works, and it saves a lot of money and disappointment by precluding premature "spoiling" of cheese. I've used several brands, and I haven't found any that are better than Formaticum, but there are several brands that are not as effective. The best deal that I have been able to find is on-line through KegWorks.
