For your draft beer tower to work as intended, all parts needs to be in fine working order. One part that periodically needs to be replaced is the shank locknut.
The shank locknut is used on the inside of your refrigerator and is designed to hold the shank in place. Once you drill the hole through the wall and slide the shank through, the locknut is inserted on the threaded pipe and tightened to a snug fit.
Made of solid, durable brass, this replacement beer shank locknut is the perfect solution if your old nut is leaking or stripped. It will fit all standard beer shanks.
Installing your new shank locknut is about as easy as it gets. Just loosen and take off your old locknut, then use a wrench to tighten this one in its place.
