The health dept is looking for the unit to install with the top flush to the granite counter tops or the whole assembly to sit on top of the granite with just the plumbing penetrating the counter top. From the picture it looks like the mounting plate is flush with the top of the assembly. Is that adjustable or is the unit designed for under counter use?
    Spiff on Nov 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ours are mounted behind our bar, but not flush with a countertop. They're pretty self contained, they just look like a square metal box behind our bar. We've had to clean ours out several times, so I'm glad they're not installed somewhere that we can't reach and disassemble.
I'm not sure what state you live in, but that seems like a weird requirement. What's the thought behind that?
Does this come with the pressure valve as part of the installation package?
    Spiff on Nov 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is no seperate valve as part of the kit, and no way to adjust pressure. I installed it with a simple on off valve from my sink and used plastic tubing. It works great. The pressure from my house water supply is downsized in the unit and is definitely ample.
Who is the O.E.M. for this product?
    Spiff on Nov 3, 2015
    BEST ANSWER: Hi Tom,

    The manufacturer is Krome Dispense.

    Cheers!
