Serve perfect nitro cold brew coffee in minutes with this handy nitrogen-infusing keg lid. In minutes, you can give your draft coffee a Guinness-style foamy head at the top of each glass!

    Overview

Speed up the process of force carbonation for beer, coffee or cocktails on tap with an easy to use Keg Carbonation lid.

Add the foam head to your nitro coffee that proper infusion brings with this nitrogenating keg lid with a diffusion stone. This creates the cascading effect when poured in just a few minutes.

Attach this lid to your Corny keg, connect the gas line to the post on the lid, and slowly raise the pressure in 5 PSI increments until reaching a 35-45 PSI serving pressure. Your nitro brew coffee will be coming out of your kegerator looking like a Guinness after just around 20 minutes of raising the pressure until it reaches its proper PSI. This keg lid is the easiest way to create a cascading effect, and foamy head at the top of your glass of cold brew coffee.

Setting up perfect pours with your draft system of nitro brew coffee for home, bar, or restaurant use has never been easier or faster. This nitro coffee keg lid fits most Cornelius kegs and is built for ease of use.

Check out our guide to Coffee on Tap to learn more about nitro cold brew systems.

Note: Pre-boil the stone for 3-5 minutes before using and sanitize the whole keg lid before submersing into your keg. This assures you that your stone and keg lid are sterile and any residual oils have been removed.

Is this lid required for doing nitro beers if I want to charge and serve my beers with? I don't have a set up yet and want to gather as much information so that one day I have this option. Also I'm not sure how high the pressure should be, how long it takes to charge a keg with beer gas nitro blend and how long my line should be to balance.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Daniel, this lid is designed specifically to infuse kegged coffee with nitrogen. If you're serving nitro beers, there's no need to charge a keg or change your line length. You will need a nitrogen tank filled with beer gas and a nitro faucet. If you already have a regulator you'll need a CO2 regulator to nitrogen adapter, or you can purchase a separate nitrogen regulator. You will also want to make sure you have the correct coupler for the type of beer you plan to serve.

Check out the articles below, which will explain how to serve Guinness at home and which keg coupler you will need based on the type of beer you plan to serve:
