Our 1.5" OD Polished Brass tubing has a variety of uses when it comes to architectural metal projects. Whether you're constructing brass pipe bar shelving, top rail, decorative handrail, or bar foot rail, you'll get the classic look of gleaming polished brass when you choose this tubing style. 

1.5" polished brass tubing is available in a variety of sizes from 2 feet through 8 feet to meet the specs of your project. When ordering tubing, it’s always wise to round up to the nearest foot. If your bar is not an even full foot increment, but rather has some inch increment (i.e. 6’2″, 7’2″), you will need to order up to the next foot. So if your bar is 3’2″, you will need to order a 4-foot piece of tubing. If your bar is 7’2″, you will need to order an 8-foot piece of tubing, and so on. If this is the case, you must cut the rail with a miter saw before installation.

All of our brass tubing and components are unlacquered and will naturally patina over time.

Be sure to choose components in 1.5" diameter to match the size of this brass tubing. 1.5" OD tubing is not designed for commercial bar foot rail use or standing upon. We recommend 2" outside diameter bar foot rail tubing for commercial use.

If your project requires a longer rail, simply order 4 foot tubing sections plus splicing sleeve(s) to connect two pieces of tubing. The seam between two joined pieces can be covered by placing a bracket over the joint.
