In stock and ready to ship.

This stainless steel jockey box coil features a unique square shape and innovative spacer legs to elevate it above the ice bath for more uniform cooling.

Whether you're adding to a jockey box kit or making your own DIY jockey box, you're going to need coils. These square coils use a unique design to get fully cooled quicker and more efficiently. Their extra long design assists in giving your jockey box maximum cooling power.

Jockey box coils are designed to cool your beer as it travels through the coil. They sit inside a cooler, in an ice bath. With regular cleaning, these 304 stainless steel coils will not cause funky flavors in your brew over time. This jockey box coil is designed in an innovative square shape to help provide a snugger, more secure fit in your cooler. It utilizes unique spacer legs to create a slight elevation that allows your ice bath to chill from underneath, resulting in a more consistently cold, less foamy product.

This 70-foot long jockey box coil includes hex nuts, ferrules, and rubber grommets on each side for connection to your cooler coupling in the back and beer shank in the front. The extra long 70' design means that the beer takes longer to travel through the coils and there is more surface area for your beer to be cooled by the ice water bath, meaning your beer will be as cold as possible when it reaches your glass.

In 1/4" outside diameter, these coils are the right size for the majority of jockey box kits. Set up your jockey box no more than 10 feet from your ice cold keg. Attach the beer line from the top of the keg coupler to the cooler coupling, and the air line from the outlet barb on the CO2 regulator to other side of the coupler. Adjust the keg regulator to 40-60 PSI based on your setup. Keep both the jockey box coils and keg cold throughout to avoid foaming (no more than 40° F).

Be sure to wash out your lines and coils after each use, just as you would normally clean your beer lines. Check out our jockey box instructions and tips for more information on completing your setup.

    Excellent Product, Perfect Pours
I purchased 5 of these for a custom pouring station for our brewery, so server at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. I've previously used 120' coils, but went with the 70' to save money. It was definitely the right call as the beer pours every bit as well, and perfectly, as through a 120' could.

Are these stackable for four taps given a large enough cooler? Can one fit inside of another so that you don't take up as much vertical space?
    A shopper on Mar 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They would defiantly not fit inside one another. If you had a very tall cooler the could be stacked I personally would not recommend it. The main issue you would have is connecting to the in and out tubing at the top of each. There is very little give to press down the tubing connections. You could with the right tubing bender and cutter work on customizing more with out kinking but you would still need to stack the top one much higher than the top of the coils to make a proper connection connect. The I guess you would end up with one tap above the other? The would be a very large, wide and heavy cooler indeed. I personally would recommend two coolers side by side.
If the OD of this coil is 5/16" why are you recommending 1 3/8" ferrule and 1 1/4"? Wouldn't it be 2 5/16" ferrules?
    A shopper on May 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There were some typos in my original reply and I've edited the original list. The correct quantities and sizes for the items you questioned are listed below. This is for two jockey box coils. For one coil you would need two of each fitting

    (4) 3/8" Ferrule Fitting (#279F)
    (4) 1/4" Grommet Compression Fitting (#277G)

The reason that the sizes are not all 5/16" OD is because it's a compression assembly, so each fitting needs to be able to fit over the next. The order that the fittings go on to the coil are as follows: hex nut, ferrule, grommet.

what are the spacer legs made of?
    A shopper on May 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Great question! The spacer legs are made of impact resistant plastic. Cheers!
